A vehicle fire caused disruption on the northbound carriageway of the M53 between Chester and Ellesmere Port.
The incident, reported about 2.15pm today (Friday July 17), affected the flow of traffic between junction 11 at the junction with the M56 and junction 10 for the A5117 at Little Stanney near Cheshire Oaks.
It was described as causing a ‘medium’ level of disruption according to the BBC Travel website.
