PUPILS of a Blacon school showed off their artistic talents at a celebration evening.

Highfield Primary School in Blacon Point Road invited parents, governors and members of the community to see the art produced by the youngsters and to look around the school.

Art teacher Wynne Roberts said: “The children’s artwork was framed and put on display for the parents to buy. It all looked very professional and the school received lots of positive comments from the parents and visitors.

“The PTFA provided champagne and canapés and pupils were chosen to be ambassadors for Highfield and showed people around the school.

“The exhibition was a huge success and the children felt very proud of their artwork.”
