A CHESTER boy is on his way to Disneyland Paris later this summer thanks to the Chronicle-backed charity Miles of Smiles.
It’s a well deserved trip of a lifetime for Joel Bolton who lives with his dad Keith and sister Chelsea in Willow Way, Broughton. Plucky 10-year-old Joel, who has severe learning difficulties and hipotonia, a neurodegenerative disease, was nominated to go on the trip to Paris by another Chelsea, his good friend Chelsea Lawrence.
Joel’s dad Keith will be accompanying his son on their holiday.
Keith said: “Joel is so looking forward to the holiday. I’m delighted for him. He especially wants to see Mickey Mouse.
“It’ll be a joy to see his reaction and his face light up. A big thanks to Chelsea for her nomination which is a lovely gesture.
