THE latest entries are featured today in The Chronicle’s search for the best gardens in the Chester area to celebrate Cheshire’s 2008 Year of Gardens.

There are two categories in the competition: large gardens (detached houses) and small gardens (flats, terraces and semis).

To enter just send us a colour picture of your garden as well as your details.

You can post pictures to us or drop them off at our offices at Chronicle House, Commonhall Street, Chester.

If possible, we would prefer it if you could e-mail it to us in jpeg format – see the how to enter panel for details.

We will publish the pictures in The Chronicle and readers can vote for their favourites.

The readers will vote to narrow the entries down to a shortlist of three in each category.

Judges will visit the shortlisted gardens to decide who wins.

First prize will be £150 of Gordale garden centre vouchers, £100 for second and £50 for third.
