A vehicle fire on the westbound carriageway of the M56 caused disruption for motorists this Monday morning (June 27).
One lane had to be closed between junction 12 at Runcorn and junction 14 at Hapsford while emergency services dealt with the incident.
All lanes have now reopened but minor delays remain in the area.
