Cheshire charity Deafness Support Network (DSN) has welcomed a donation from a Winsford-based company’s charity committee.

Compass Minerals UK presented DSN £200 and two boxes of ear plugs for a fundraising and awareness initiative next year.

DSN, which was formed in 1976, is the service provider organisation for deaf people in Cheshire and surrounding areas, and aims to provide wider access and equality for deaf and hard of hearing people.

DSN fundraising manager Rhys Edwards said: “I would like to thank Mike and the team at Compass Minerals for the generous donation of £200 towards the work of Deafness Support Network.

“The support we receive from local businesses and organisations is so important to us and I would like to say a big thank you on behalf of everyone at DSN for this kind donation.”

DSN is keen to build partnerships with more organisations in Cheshire.
