GOLDEN gymnast and Dancing On Ice champion Beth Tweddle delighted skaters at Deeside Ice Rink last week.

The Bunbury star, who as well as winning world championship gold medals clinched bronze at the 2012 London Olympics, wowed members of Deeside Ice Skating Club with her visit.

She showcased skills she learned with dancing partner Dan Whiston on the hit ITV show to members, including the ‘teapot’ routine.

Organiser Maxine Baker said: “The session with Beth was a great success and the kids loved it – lots of autographs were signed and pictures taken.

“Club members supported Beth throughout her Dancing on Ice experience and have taken great inspiration from her work ethic with her gymnastics and Olympic achievement.

Deeside Ice Skating Club meets every Sunday from 4-6pm and each Wednesday from 6.30-7.30pm.
