WORLD-FAMOUS dance company Allegrodance will be performing a Triple Bill dance extravaganza at The Brindley in Runcorn on February 23.
Different styles of dance including ballet, contemporary flamenco, jazz and tap will be explored by the international group, which is made up of graduating students and professionals from Kate Simmons Dance, Warrington.
A newly choreographed interpretation of Peter and the Wolf will take the form of a classical ballet and different instruments in the orchestra will follow the narration of the Russian tale.
The audience follows young Peter who explores the forest near his home and finds himself battling the wicked wolf.
Allegrodance Company will also perform excerpts from the award-winning ballet A Simple Man, based on the life of LS Lowry and choreographed by Gillian Lynne. The show finale is a Contemporary Flamenco Jazz and Tap Dance, which will offer a taste of all three dance disciplines.
Ruth Lloyd, Dance Development Officer at The Brindley, says: 'This show caters to all tastes and the performances are an ideal way to get a flavour of different forms of dance.
