YOUNG dancers have dedicated a performance to help support a Cheshire deafness charity.

Deafness Support Network (DSN) was voted the chosen charity for Appleton Thorn School of Dance, Warrington.

The school held a fundraiser at their annual That’s Entertainment performances at The Brindley theatre in Runcorn.

Children of all ages showed their dance talents throughout the action-packed evening, which included a raffle arranged by DSN staff and a further raffle organised by parents, friends and relatives of the young dancers in the show.

The effort saw £200 donated on the night, which will now help to pay for pantomime tickets to take young deaf children from across Cheshire to see a British Sign Language (BSL) signed performance of Arabian Nights.

Youth activities are just one of the ways DSN helps to support the 90,000 children and adults across the county.

They also host a number of lip reading and BSL classes at their four centres in Chester, Northwich, Macclesfield and Warrington.
