A father of two from Cuddington has been killed in a crash in Runcorn.
Aiden Davies, 26, is believed to have lost control of his motorcycle on the slip road connecting Boston Avenue and the Central Expressway.
An arrest has been made in connection with the incident after emergency services were alerted at 8.30pm on Monday (August 3).
In a statement Mr Davies' family said: “Aiden was a proud father, brother and son who lived for his two little boys and his family.
“He was kind hearted and always had a smile on his face. He had many friends in the area and was loved by everyone that knew him.”
Social media tributes have also poured in for Mr Davies with users changing their profile pictures to ones featuring him.
His public information said he was from Runcorn and attended St Chad’s Catholic High School before studying at Liverpool John Moores University.
He was employed at 360 Vision Technology in Manor Park, Runcorn.
On Facebook, Jeanette Hoxworth said: “RIP Aiden, such a lovely young man, will be sadly missed.”
Claire Harding said: “Rip Aiden will never forget you. Thinking of all your family.”
Cheshire Police believe Mr Davies lost control of his black Suzuki GSF 1200 on the left hand bend of the slip road.
He suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
A 26-year-old from Runcorn was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and bailed pending further enquiries.
An investigation has been launched and police are appealing for witnesses
A spokeswoman said: “Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a white Ford Focus RS in the Boston Avenue and Central Expressway area around the time of the incident.
“They are also keen to trace the Mitsubishi travelling from Boston Avenue up the link road shortly before the incident.”
