A herd of cows have been causing chaos in Saughall .

Cheshire Police said they were trying to get the animals out of Hermitage Road shortly after 8am on Tuesday (May 17).

Caroline Blackhurst, of Hermitage Road, sent these pictures and said the gracefully grazing cows had damaged the walls, lawn and plants in her garden.

They also left their rather smelly mark.
