The Countess of Chester Hospital celebrated the hard work and dedication of staff at an annual Celebration of Achievement awards (November 27).
The awards ceremony, sponsored by Medicash, University of Chester, the Countess of Chester and Jane Lewis Agency, was held at Chester Racecourse and hosted by the trust’s very own ‘TV Doc’ Ravi Jayaram.
The nominees also enjoyed a performance by the Countess choir before watching video clips detailing why their colleagues felt they were so deserving of recognition.
Chief executive Tony Chambers commented: “Our Celebration of Achievement Awards is the event I look forward to the most each year. It highlights the great work being achieved by the people and teams shortlisted and presents us with an opportunity to say a very public thank you to them for their commitment, resilience and ultimately, their care.
"We always aim to make our community proud with the care we deliver and without a shadow of doubt, this year’s nominees and winners make me very proud.”
