Many of us will have experienced the frustration of failing our driving theory test.

For some of us it takes several attempts, others are lucky enough to pass the first time.

But once you do manage to scrape that pass - the Highway Code is rarely revisited on the road.

Research from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has revealed that less than a quarter of people read the Highway Code after passing their test.
