IF YOU have a passion for fashion then you could be the next face of Chester.

As part of September’s Chester Fashion Festival, Boss Model Management is offering one girl and one boy a year’s modelling contract and a professional photo shoot.

The agency will pick 10 finalists from all the applicants before a panel of judges will pick the winning pair at a show in the MacDonald New Blossoms Hotel in St John Street.

Last year’s champion Catriona Vowels, 19, spoke to The Chronicle about how the competition changed her life.

She said: “The biggest thing I have done so far was the Superdrug Christmas campaign and I am going to be working with an agency in Milan for about six weeks in the summer.

“People should definitely go for it. Just send a picture in and let the agency decide. You have got to have an open mind but if you’ve got potential then they will see it and push you for your niche, whatever that may be.

“Boss Model Management really do nurture you. When you go on a job you are told exactly what you will be doing and they would never send you on something that would be unsuitable. And if you are still at school, like I was, they won’t have a problem with that, they will wait.

“I hadn’t done any professional modelling before but it’s changed my whole life.”
