A TARPORLEY Co-operative store employee really did spook the customers when he dressed up for Halloween.

Steven Mullock, 19, was the only one in the village shop who donned a pointed hat, wig and a dress to really scare the customers for charity.

Steven managed to raise more than £50 for the RNIB on the day thanks to generous sponsors and kind customers.

Manager of the Tarporley shop Richard Nicholls said: “He was very brave to dress up as he did, especially as he was the only one in the shop. He did really well and brought a smile to many a customers face.”
