A competition to celebrate the splendour of the River Dee has certainly caught the imagination of photographers.
We have been inundated with beautiful shots of the river at all times of the day and night, throughout the seasons, for our competition in association with ChesterBoat.
We have chosen a selection of entries, to highlight the breadth of talent on offer.
First prize is a £200 voucher from Camera Solutions on Frodsham Street.
Three runners up will each receive a trip for two on the company’s popular fish and chip evening cruises, complete with a complimentary bottle of wine.
Any images selected for the company’s website will be rewarded with either a half-hour or two-hour cruise along the river for two people.
The panel of judges includes Chronicle photographer Ian Cooper.
