CHURCHGOERS had a cuppa for charity, raising hundreds of pounds for a Chester hospice.

The community coffee morning was held on June 4 at the Uniting Church, Garden Lane.

In total they raised £300 for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd in Backford.

Volunteer fundraiser Ann Moody spoke about the work of the hospice and the continual need for funds to be raised in this way.

She went on to thank those present for their support and generosity.
