Following a report crowning Chester the 3rd vainest place in the UK due to the high number of cosmetic surgeons in the region, Bridge Trafford-based non-surgical clinic SkinGenesis has revealed the increasing numbers of people within the area choosing less invasive alternatives to cosmetic surgery.

Nationwide, 500,000 non-surgical treat-ments were carried out in 2007, showing a 14-fold increase on figures from 2002.

SkinGenesis says it has seen a huge increase in the number of people in the area choosing these less invasive treatments. Since opening their clinic, 10 Bridge Health and Wellbeing Centre, financially-backed by footballer Michael Owen, staff are responding to 40-50 enquiries a week, and are on the way to their target of 200 active clients at any one point.
