LADIES were thinking pink when a plush pink Rolls-Royce marked the start of Chester Fashion 2007.

The Rolls-Royce, one of only two in the world, is owned by Count and Countess Craig and Lisa Baker and was parked outside the Blackhouse Grill, Newgate Street, Chester, on Tuesday evening.

Ladies received complimentary pampering from Uber cosmetics, P, which offered massages, treatments and expert beauty advice.

Philip Armstrong couture showcased some celebrity-inspired creations at the event and Bridge Street’s Cruise showcased this season’s must-have handbags and accessories.

Chester Fashion 2007 runs until Saturday, September 29, and retailers and designers across the city are working together to showcase the best fashion.

Stephen Wundke, chairman of the event, said: ‘We have a stunning programme of events for this year’s Chester Fashion 2007 and this was a great event to kick things off.’
