MEMBERS of Garden Lane Methodist and Sealand Road United Reformed churches enjoyed their annual community candlelit carol service at Garden Lane Methodist Church on Sunday evening.

It was led by the minister, the Rev Martin Hardy, and there was a retiring collection which raised £75, which will be shared between the charities Food for Thought Africa and the Methodist Relief and Development Fund for its work in South Africa and other parts of the world.
