CHRISTMAS comes to Chester’s Garden Quarter this weekend.
The fun starts at 6pm on Saturday with the switching on of the Christmas lights.
Local resident Matt Baker will host a musical extravaganza at the corner of Bouverie Street and Garden Lane with carols from the children of Chester Blue Coat CE Primary School and entertainment from women’s choir A Handbag of Harmonies, the Harmonettes and jazz vocalist Jane Wolfe.
On Sunday there is a Christmas fair at Garden Lane Church, from 2-4pm, with a selection of stalls selling Christmas cards, cakes, gifts and Christmas trees.
