CAROLLERS and school children are learning theatre craft as rehearsals get underway for Theatre in the Quarter’s production of A Christmas Carol at Chester Town Hall.

A cast of professional actors from stage and screen are working alongside singers from the community and 62 school children playing a range of roles including Dickens’ much loved Tiny Tim.

Artistic director Matt Baker said: “Along with some amazing acting talent, we have also found some wonderful musicians, singers and dancers. We just know this is going to be a magical production.”

The play is directed by Russ Tunney, designed by Julie Croft with film and digital media content by Helen Newall and music composed by Matt Baker.

Tickets from £10 (£5 concessions) are available from 0845 241 7868, visit www.chestertownhall.co.uk or call into Chester Tourist Information Centre.
