A Chester high school has become a hit on YouTube with its latest musical performance – Gangnam Style.
Christleton High School’s four-minute video has amassed thousands of views on the video-sharing website since it was put up late last year.
The video features staff and students – including headteacher Tony Lamberton – getting into the party spirit, some re-creating the moves which made original artist Psy a worldwide phenomenon.
And while Christleton High has some way to go to match the South Korean singer, who recently surpassed one billion YouTube video views, the school has managed to notch up more than 3,000 hits.
Another Chester high school has created a YouTube musical number to be broadcast to the world.
After weeks of secret rehearsals in PE lessons, female pupils and members of staff at the King’s School performed a flash mob performance of Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You to a stunned school.
From all over the school, girls joined the dance in the theatre foyer joined by teachers, who had also been secretly rehearsing.
