A club for current and former military personnel welcomed a visit from Chester’s MP in a bid to boost its profile.
Chris answered questions from members over a hearty meal to set them all up for the day.
The club was founded by Paul Anstey in October 2014.
He said: “Chris was impressed with the set-up and only too pleased to help offer his help to further the Breakfast Club’s aims and ambitions to grow further, encourage more members from the forces community to attend and to raise charity money along the way with the help of local businesses and charity days.
“Although we currently have about 100 members on our Facebook page, there must be hundreds more in the Chester area that are unaware of our group but would like to attend.”
