POPULAR car extravaganza Pageant of Power will motor into Cholmondeley once again this summer.

Organisers of the annual spectacular have announced the 2013 event will take place from Friday, June 14, to Sunday, June 16.

Tickets are on sale now, and for those wishing to book early, CPoP is offering an ‘early bird’ discount of 25% off selective tickets until March 31.

And until the end of March, adult day tickets are available from £20 for the Friday, while crowds can experience the best of the Saturday and Sunday action for £26 if booked before the event.

Under-16s tickets are also now available free of charge, giving families a cut-price option to the North West’s most high-octane event.

This will be the sixth successive year of Pageant of Power and will feature a record number of supercars, race and rally cars, superbikes, helicopters and powerboats, as well as a stunning aerial display.

Organisers have promised that this year’s event will be more interactive than ever, allowing visitors to get up-close and personal to the attractions.

‘Noise’ will be a notable theme for this year, with attendees encouraged to vote for their favourites in orchestrated ‘noise-off’ battles between evocative machinery – classic and modern, from thunderous aero-engined cars to wailing Formula One racers.

In light of this, everyone who buys tickets before April will be given a free pair of ear plugs.

James Hall, event director, said: “The Pageant is now a must-attend event for the region and each year it gets more and more popular with families and motor enthusiasts,”

“By booking now, visitors are able to take advantage of our early bird offer and can secure tickets for what promises to be one of the best and most action packed family days out of the year.”
