A DAUGHTER’S love for her father has compelled her to scale new heights for the charity she believes saved his life.

Charlotte Hall, 20, said it was her ‘worst nightmare’ when her father Terry, 69, came home clutching his chest and struggling for breath, last November.

Realising he was having a heart attack, Charlotte, of Castle Farm, Cholmondeley, called emergency services who helped her get her dad comfortable, until an air ambulance arrived.

But things took a turn for the worse when Terry briefly stopped breathing, but the ground crew quickly made him stable enough to be flown to Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, where he later made a full recovery.

Now, Charlotte, who works for an airline food distribution company, is planning a skydive to raise funds for the North West Air Ambulance (NWAA), who she feels saved her beloved dad’s life.

“When my boyfriend Martin bought me a skydive for Christmas, I decided I’d do it to raise money for the NWAA because they are worth their weight in gold,” said Charlotte who will take to the skies on June 4.

“In my eyes they saved my dad’s life. Without them arriving so quickly and the ground crew’s efforts I don’t think he would have made it.”

Charlotte has set up a donation page for anyone who wants to offer support for her skydive, which she will be doing at Tilstock Airfield, Whitchurch.
