Children in Saughall enjoyed a week of activities at the end of the school summer holidays.

Organised by Saughall Neighbourhood Management Team, the project at the Vernon Institute was aimed at youngsters aged between seven and 11 years.

Activities included cooking and playing various games and organisers wish to thank The Greyhound pub for use of its field.

They also enjoyed a day out in Chester and the week ended with a talent show for parents, who also enjoyed the cakes made by the children.

This was followed by the presentation of certificates.
