CHESTER’S Grosvenor Arts Society has held its annual spring exhibition of paintings.

Chairman John Paskin said: “This was our first exhibition at Upton Golf Club and we were delighted with the venue, the quality and range of paintings and the great response from visitors.”

The event was well-attended throughout the four days.

Many paintings were sold and visitors’ comments were extremely positive.

The society is planning a further exhibition in September.

The Grosvenor Art Society was formed at a meeting held in the old School of Art in Chester in March 1949.
