Chester Women’s Aid marked International Women’s Day on Tuesday, March 8 with a weekend event at Chester Town Hall.
Members of staff from Russell and Russell solicitors, who volunteer for the charity, collected money to help support its work with domestic violence victims, and manned a stall.
The stall had information on various elements of family and probate law and they also held a free raffle.
The event was also to mark the 40th anniversary of Chester Women’s Aid.
More than £700 was raised to support the charity over the weekend.
