A student from Chester has pleaded not guilty to rape.
Nicholas Onyett, 21, of Newry Park, also denied an allegation of performing a sexual act on a female victim the same night.
The charges relate to an incident involving a fellow university student on September 2, 2014.
Onyett appeared at Chester Crown Court on December 14 and was allowed to stay on bail until his trial, which has been set for July 4.
He is charged with one count of rape and one count of assault by penetration.
