Following last week's revelation that TV soap legend Linda Gray of Dallas is to join Chester-set Channel 4 series Hollyoaks, more star names have been signed up for the show.

Leading the way is Cold Feet star Jacey Salles who will play Juanita Salvador Martinez Hernandez De La Cruz, mother of Diego.

Jacey said: “I have just had the best time at Hollyoaks. The cast and crew are one of the nicest I have ever worked for. I can’t wait for everybody to finally know about my role.”

Joining her will be Game of Thrones favourite Clive Russell who will play Jack Osborne's brother Billy and newcomer Eva Falco’s father.

Clive is best known for his role as Brynden Tully in the HBO fantasy drama Game of Thrones but has also appeared in big screen hits such as Sherlock Holmes and Thor: The Dark World.

Clive said: “I have had some great days filming with Hollyoaks. In common with other soaps, Hollyoaks relies on the people behind the camera to make the whole thing work. Everybody is exceptional and fun.”

Finally, Lisa Maxwell of The Bill and Loose Women fame will joint the cast as Tracey, mum of Grace Black and the Donovans.

Lisa said: "Tracey has had a hard life and might, at first, seem like a bit of a train wreck and burden to her daughter when she arrives in the village.

"Seeing how her return impacts on Grace will be interesting as there’s not a lot of love lost between them. Especially as she arrives with a big juicy Donovans secret."

All three newcomers are expected to make their debut in September.
