CHESTER Samaritans, based on Upper Northgate Street, need to find a new home.
“The building is not fit for purpose,” said director Viv Valente. “The main concern is around wheelchair access and the lack of space for a lift.”
The charity, which offers a listening service to anyone who needs it, is run entirely by volunteers and needs to raise £30,000 a year.
Viv added: “Our training room is too small. We are starting to look for new premises but are keen to remain in Chester – the problem is that property in Chester is incredibly expensive.
“If anyone knows of any potential buildings, we would be delighted to hear about it.”
