A HAIR salon raised more than £550 for Claire House Childrens Hospice.
The team at Saks Chester, on Watergate Street put on their best fancy dress and worked for free on Sunday July 25.
They offered any haircut or blow dry for a minimum £10 donation. They were kept busy all day and raised £560.
Owner Nikki Hughes said she was delighted with the success of the day.
She added: “It was a brilliant day. We had tourists coming in for photo opportunities and another childrens charity that had been in Chester with the children had pictures with us too.”
