MOULES a Go Go in the city centre has been shortlisted for Best Small Restaurant of the Year 2009 at the Chester Food and Drink Festival.

Just five restaurants reach the final stage of this hotly contested category after being nominated by the dining public.

Each finalist will then be judged by a mystery diner or panel of experts and the winner announced on Wednesday, April 15, at the Festival’s sumptuous finale gala dinner.

Moules a Go Go’s head chef, Alan Rolfe, said: “The whole team is delighted to be shortlisted for this very prestigious award.

“The Chester dining scene is going from strength to strength and we’re very pleased we can be a key part of this. We always hope to offer an enjoyable experience for our customers so thank all those who voted for us.”

Moules a Go Go will also have a stall at the Festival over the whole of the Easter weekend.

At this stall in the outside area, next to Menai Oysters, visitors will be able to sample goods including Anglesey mussels and enter a ‘Guess the number of Mussel shells’ competition to win a prize of dinner for two.
