GOOD sports stepped out to raise £10,000 for charity.
The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile took place at Chester racecourse on Sunday supported by more than 1,000 fundraisers.
Chester racecourse was packed with runners of all ages who chose between a one, three or six-mile course.
Event organiser Alex Jarvis was delighted with the turn out and the sunny weather.
She said: “It’s been brilliant to see so many schools and families getting involved. We are looking to do it again next year.”
At least £10,000 was raised to help vulnerable people in the UK and around the world.
