TWO Chester photographers are to see their work showcased at the home of the Duke and Duchess of Westminster this Easter Sunday.

Phil Mann, of Helsby, and Nick Hastings-Winch, of Broxton, will have a portfolio of their work going on display in the Wolf Room of Eaton Hall, Eccleston, at 12.30pm, in an exhibition titled The Rural Estates.

The duo beat photographers from photographic societies and clubs in the North West to win the 16-week commission held over four seasons.

The exhibition is part of an event where the gardens are opened up to the public, with all proceeds going to charity.

The photographers’ work focuses on four main rural estates for which the Grosvenor family have responsibility, including Eaton Park.

The other three estates are Abbeystead, in Lancashire, The Reay Forest in Sutherland and the Spanish estate of La Garganta in Castilla la Mancha.

The Eaton Hall Garden open day starts at 1.30pm, closing at 5.30pm. Entry is a £5 donation for adults and £1 for children, with an additional £5 per adult to see the exhibition.
