OLYMPIC fever is under way at Chester Market, as the nation follows the daily action of London 2012.
In accordance with the Games, each market stall will support and resemble a participating nation.
There will also be a children’s themed painting competition with gold, silver and bronze gift voucher prizes to be won.
Chester City Councillor Samantha Dixon said: “The market has a festival feeling with the stalls looking even more colourful than normal. I would like to congratulate the stall holders and encourage everybody to visit the market.”
Chester Market is open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 5pm (except on Bank Holidays).
