A HAMMER attack in Blacon left a 31-year-old Chester man with serious head injuries on Friday afternoon.
Cheshire police were called to reports of an assault on Hillside Road, Blacon, on Friday, May 14, at about 2.45pm, involving two men, armed with a hammer, attacking a third man.
“Officers quickly attended the scene, but there was no-one present,” said a Cheshire police spokesperson.
“Around quarter of an hour later, at about 3pm, a man was found suffering with a head injury on Sealand Road, Chester. “He was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital where he was treated for a serious head injury before discharging himself.”
The attackers are described as two males, both wearing dark clothing.
