CHESTER Little Theatre invites you to step back in time to a more innocent age, where midnight feasts, hockey matches, japes and pranks take centre stage.

Welcome to Denise Deegan’s Grangewood School For Girls, a place anyone familiar with the books of Enid Blyton or Angela Brazil will recognise immediately when they go to see Daisy Pulls It Off.

All is not well in the idyllic world of Grangewood, as Daisy Meredith, a new scholarship pupil, is about to find out.

Apart from navigating bullies, new lessons and sports, Daisy also persuades her new best chum Trixie, to help her search for the hidden treasure of Grangewood. And can Daisy hold her own against the frightful vice captain of the upper fourth Sybil Burlington?

Daisy Pulls It Off can be seen at 7.30pm on November 13 and 14, 16-21 at the Little Theatre in Gloucester Street, Newtown.

Chester Theatre Club is Chester's biggest drama club. Since 1944, they have generally staged five-six plays each year, and currently own the city’s only fully operational theatre space.

Tickets can be booked in advance by calling the box office on 01244 322674.
