Chester Lions president, Tom Hand, presented a cheque for £500 to Pat Lott, Chairman of the Cheshire West and Chester Older People’s Network.
The organisation is a strong independent group who are all aged over 60 that strive to ensure older people’s voices are listened to when changes are being made to public and private services.
The donation will be used towards the newsletter which is issued quarterly and circulated to more than 500 members to keep them informed of issues affecting the quality of their lives.
