CHESTER Lions Club held its 19th clay pigeon shoot in Mickle Trafford.

The event, at Trafford House Farm, had an entry of 106 guns competing for the first prize of £100 and a trophy plus two smaller prizes.

Peter Lloyd took first prize and was presented with his trophy by club president Lion Derek Dix.

Class 2 for £30 was won by David Swift and the Ladies Class for £20 was won by Sally Gallagher.

For the first time this year the club introduced a Two Man Flush, which was won by David Costain and John Sheldon.
