CHESTER Lions Club has donated its trailer to the city’s air cadets.

The club received a request from Flight Lieutenant Charles Rayment, commanding officer of 610 (City of Chester) Squadron Air Training Corps for support in the purchase of a trailer to attract new cadets to join.

The Chester Squadron has 100 cadets at present and would like to attract more so the club decided that rather than buy a brand new one, the cadets could have theirs.

Lion Ron Cain said: “The club had its own trailer which was used for various events.

“We felt the ATC would make more use of it and it has now been renovated with new lettering painted all around.”
