STAFF and students at The Hammond are celebrating another year of 100% pass rate at A Level, 75% of grades at A-C.

In addition, the drama department is delighted with the success of Tayia-Blu Ferraiolo. Alongside her A Level studies in English Literature and theatre studies, Tayia is the school’s first student to complete the BTEC National Award in Performing Arts (Acting) in which she has been awarded a distinction. This success has secured her a place to study at university in York in the autumn.

Principal, Maggie Evans praised the hard work of students, many of who will be returning to The Hammond in September to continue their studies towards the National Diploma in Professional Dance or Musical Theatre.

She said: These results reflect the commitment of our staff and students. Congratulations and well done”.
