STUDENTS from The King’s School have been debating issues on an international scale.

George Vickers, Kallum Marsden, Arthur Jebb, Luke Evans, Oscar Lloyd-Williams, Jack Webber and Barney Rule attended the Model United Nations Conference at Withington Girls’ School, near Manchester.

The students represented Russia at the conference which involves pupils researching a given nation before taking roles as that country’s diplomats.

The team won a highly commended delegation award after speaking on issues such as alcohol consumption and forced sterilisation.
