One of the UK’s most exciting new musical talents is launching a national online safety tour with a performance at a Chester high school.
Set to visit more than 150 schools in the next few months, 21-year-old Josh Davis is aiming to tackle the increasing trend of cyberbullying and discrimination among teenagers with an engaging presentation which will also include a performance of his debut single Fight With You.
He will be appearing at Bishops’ Bluecoat Church of England High School on Tuesday, December 13 from 2-3.15pm.
Inspired from a young age by artists such as Elvis and Michael Jackson, Josh has already been tipped as the UK’s Justin Bieber with his soulful tone and cheeky personality.
Earlier this year Josh signed a deal with The Famous Company to create an EP of original material alongside a top production team who’s credits include MNEK and Frankmusik.
The tracks have already propelled Josh to perform at a number of events across the UK, most recently supporting former X Factor winner Ben Haenow.
His boy-next-door charm and unmistakable showmanship is swiftly winning the hearts of not only teenage girls in the UK, but also worldwide through the power of social media.
Speaking about the subject of online safety and cyberbullying, Josh said: “When you release a track or video or post anything online, you’re giving a part of yourself to the world.
“Although this has made it easier for artists like myself to promote new music, it also invites a faceless audience to criticise you and your work, so I can identify with victims of online abuse.”
During 2017, Josh is set to tour the UK with a number of major performances already confirmed.
