STAFF at companies in Chester are being invited to learn a new skill as part of an annual fundraising event organised by a national deaf healthcare charity.
SignHealth is encouraging businesses in the city to participate in sign2sing, a world record breaking attempt for the most people signing and singing a song simultaneously, on February 6.
Steve Powell, chief executive at SignHealth, explained: “This is the third time we have organised the event and in the past we have mostly involved schools. However, this year we would like businesses to join in with the fun too and help us break the world record.
“Companies could team up with a school in their area to take part. Hundreds of schools, including St Theresa’s Catholic Primary School on Kipling Road in Blacon, have already signed up.”
