CHESTER FC are backing The Chronicle/BiG Storage Toy Appeal.

The Blues have organised a special Christmas themed day at the team’s home game against Radcliffe Borough at 3pm on Saturday, December 11.

The club are teaming up with The Chronicle/BiG Storage’s Toy Appeal to raise money for Save the Family charity and would like to encourage everyone to bring a toy down for disadvantaged children and teenagers in the region if you would like to support this vital charity at Christmas.

In addition to this, you can donate to Dee 106.3 and The Forum’s ‘Toys and Tins Appeal’ to help brighten up Christmas for children and the elderly in the area.

All items should be new and unwrapped and for each item received, Chester FC will give out one free child’s entry to the game.

The game will also be a great day to pick up Christmas presents for the Chester FC fans in your family. Neil Sanderson from TPX is to go down to The Exacta Stadium for one day only to personalise the Chester FC mugs with any message you like – a great Christmas present for any Chester FC fan! The Club Shop will also be selling Blue & White Santa hats for just £3.00 to wear on the day – Chester FC want to see how many people they can get wearing them in The Exacta Stadium!

On entry to the game you will be greeted by carols and you can also take the children to visit Santa as Chester FC will be joined by the Chester Grosvenor Round Table’s Santa Float.

The club are also very excited to be able to welcome ‘Dee 106.3’s Got Talent’ winner, Scott Davies, and the Abbey Gate College Choir, who will be singing some festive tunes for your entertainment.

A club spokeswoman said: “Chester v Radcliffe Borough on Saturday 11 December – is not to be missed. Kick off is at 3pm but Chester FC advise fans to get down early if they want to take advantage of the club’s special Christmas treats.

She added: “Spread the festive cheer and bring all your friends to this great family day out.”
