A Chester father and his two young children who went missing, sparking a police appeal, have been found safe and well.
Anthony Jones, 46, his nine-year-old daughter Elise Saebelfeld-Jones and three-year-old son Phoenix Saebelfeld-Jones were last seen by family members in Towyn in Conwy, North Wales, on Thursday (August 13).
The family had not heard from any of the three since and had been growing increasingly concerned for their welfare.
Police issued an appeal for information on their whereabouts on Monday afternoon (August 17). But late last night, the following statement was issued by Cheshire Constabulary: “Following this afternoon’s appeal to trace Chester man Anthony Jones and his two children, I am pleased to advise you that the three have been found safe and well this evening.”
The statement also thanked the media for assistance in raising the profile of the appeal.
