A Chester company is hoping to make Christmas extra special for ten elderly residents.
Directors Vince Rees and Graeme Smith of Rees Developments construction firm have decided to cancel the firm’s Christmas party so they can give ten vulnerable people living alone in the Chester area a hearty Christmas meal at The Peacock Hotel in Boughton.
Vince said: “We all get caught up with the excitement of Christmas and it is easy to forget those less fortunate than ourselves.
“Cancelling our Christmas party to help those in need was an easy decision to make and we are pleased to be able to support our local community.”
