The exhibition about the replanting of the Cloister Garth continues until August 28. The garden is particularly enjoyable at this time of year and is a wonderfully peaceful and quiet space in the heart of the city.

You may have noticed that scaffolding has been in place over the Chapter House window. The Victorian stained-glass window was taken out for repair and cleaning some time ago and this time-consuming and skilled work has now been completed.

The cleaned and re-leaded window is currently being put back in place and as a result, the Chapter House will be closed during August to allow the work to take place.

The newly cleaned and restored window will look wonderful and should last for many years to come.
